Section 1
Core listing principles
Every listing must describe a product the enrolled manufacturer can genuinely manufacture. It must be accurate, specific, current, lawful and placed in the most precise available taxonomy. A listing may not be a generic advertisement, duplicate doorway page or lead-resale offer.
Submitting a listing does not guarantee publication. Draft, submitted, approved, paused, archived and rejected states allow suppliers and moderators to maintain catalogue quality.
Section 2
Required listing information
- Clear product title using the commonly understood product name, without keyword stuffing.
- Precise family, category, subcategory and product type.
- Relevant category-specific attributes such as material, size, capacity, process, finish, grade, standard or application.
- Compulsory minimum order quantity with the correct unit.
- Compulsory genuine indicative price or price range with unit and applicable basis; deliberately meaningless placeholder prices are not permitted.
- Clear product description, manufacturing capabilities and customisation scope.
- At least one representative product image that the supplier has the right to use.
- Applicable regulated-product licence, registration or certification information where required.
Section 3
Price, MOQ and availability
Indicative price must reflect a genuine commercial range for the described configuration and MOQ. Final price may vary with specification, quantity, raw materials, taxes, freight and commercial terms, but the listing must not use a deceptively low price to attract enquiries.
MOQ must be the normal minimum the manufacturer is prepared to discuss. Buyers may submit below-MOQ requirements; the platform will show the mismatch rather than silently rejecting the enquiry. Update price, MOQ and availability when materially changed.
Section 4
Categories, attributes and supplier suggestions
Choose the most accurate existing product path. Do not place unrelated products in a high-traffic category. When a needed attribute or value is missing, use the “Other” suggestion only for a genuine category-specific specification.
A suggestion is reviewed by the taxonomy team and may be renamed, merged, approved as an option, made filterable or rejected. Administrators may migrate listings to a more precise category while preserving listing history, URLs or redirects where appropriate.
Section 5
Photos, documents and media
- Up to eight product images may be uploaded; JPEG, PNG and WebP are accepted, up to 5 MB per original image.
- The first image is the cover. Images must clearly show the product and can be reordered before submission.
- No unauthorised watermarks, competitor details, misleading composites, unrelated stock images or contact details designed to bypass the enquiry flow.
- Factory and process photos must depict the supplier’s actual operations or be clearly labelled when illustrative.
- Documents and certificates must be legible, current where applicable and uploaded only when the supplier has the right to disclose them.
Section 6
Claims, certificates and references
Claims such as ISO certified, government approved, food grade, medical grade, export quality, patented, eco-friendly or authorised manufacturer require evidence and must be limited to the actual entity, site, product and validity period.
Customer names, logos, case studies, press mentions and testimonials require appropriate permission. “Selected clients” must not imply endorsement where only a supplier relationship existed. b2bsilvish may label information as verified, reviewed, supplier-declared or pending.
Section 7
Regulated products
The supplier is responsible for all licences, registrations, labelling, safety information and sale restrictions for regulated products, including food, pharmaceuticals, medical devices, chemicals, pesticides, cosmetics, electrical equipment and controlled goods. A catalogue field does not replace regulatory compliance.
We may require evidence before publication, limit visibility, restrict enquiries by geography or remove a listing when compliance cannot be established.
Section 8
Prohibited products and content
- Counterfeit, stolen, illegal, sanctioned, recalled or unlawfully imported or exported goods.
- Weapons, explosives, narcotics, illegal drugs, child sexual abuse material and items whose listing is prohibited by applicable law.
- Products infringing copyright, trademark, patent, design, publicity, confidentiality or other rights.
- False documents, fake reviews, misleading certifications, deceptive health or performance claims and impersonation.
- Personal data, buyer requirements, phone lists, financial credentials, government identity numbers or confidential drawings offered for sale.
- Services or products that do not fit the manufacturer-only scope unless expressly enabled by b2bsilvish.
Section 9
Duplicates and listing quality
Do not create multiple listings for the same product merely to occupy search results. Genuine variants may be separate where specifications, market use or imagery materially differ. Moderators may merge duplicates or select a canonical listing.
Listing score is a guidance tool based on completeness, evidence and buyer usefulness. It is not a verification result or guaranteed ranking factor.
Section 10
Moderation and appeals
b2bsilvish may edit formatting on behalf of a supplier, request clarification, return a listing for changes, apply a label, pause, delist, archive or delete content from public view. Material edits are audit logged. The supplier remains responsible for the underlying claim.
To appeal, use Supplier Support with the listing ID, disputed decision and supporting evidence. Repeated or serious violations may affect the whole account under the Supplier Membership Terms.
