Section 1
What cookies and similar technologies are
Cookies are small files or values stored by a browser. Similar technologies include local storage, pixels, tags and software identifiers. They can remember a session, protect a form, store a preference and help measure how the service performs.
Some technologies are set by b2bsilvish and others by service providers. Their duration may be session-only or persistent for a stated period.
Section 2
Strictly necessary storage
These technologies are necessary to provide a service you request or keep it secure. Blocking them may prevent login, saved drafts, contact disclosure or supplier-portal use.
- Account and authentication session, trusted-device status and security protections.
- OTP, rate-limit, fraud and abuse controls.
- Buyer requirement drafts and form continuity across verification.
- Load balancing, server security, consent choice and accessibility settings.
Section 3
Functional preferences
Functional storage may remember category, location, display, communication and interface choices so they do not need to be selected again. Where required, these are activated only after consent and can be disabled through the available preference controls.
Section 4
Analytics and experience measurement
Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity may be used after connection to understand visits, searches, navigation, device types, conversion steps and interface problems. Clarity may record interaction patterns such as clicks and scrolling; fields intended for sensitive information must be masked or excluded.
Analytics data helps improve category structure, matching and usability. Non-essential analytics will be handled according to applicable consent requirements and should not be activated before the consent mechanism is ready.
Section 5
Advertising and attribution
Google Ads and related tags may measure whether an advertisement leads to a visit, requirement or supplier enquiry and may support permitted remarketing. We do not permit advertising tags to capture OTPs, requirement free text, phone numbers or sensitive verification documents.
Advertising technologies are optional and should be disabled unless the required choice or consent has been obtained.
Section 6
Security and error monitoring
Cloudflare or similar services may set security identifiers to distinguish legitimate traffic from bots and abuse. Sentry may collect technical error details, page context and device information to diagnose failures. Collection should be minimised and configured to avoid sensitive form content.
Section 7
Your controls
Browser-wide blocking may also remove the three-day trusted-device session and saved requirement drafts. Necessary technologies cannot always be disabled while continuing to use the affected feature.
- Use the b2bsilvish cookie preference control when available to accept, reject or change non-essential categories.
- Use browser settings to delete or block cookies and local storage.
- Use browser or device privacy controls for advertising identifiers.
- Withdraw optional consent without affecting earlier lawful processing.
Section 8
Duration and changes
Session values expire when the browser session ends. Persistent durations are limited to the purpose—for example the trusted buyer device is intended to last three days unless security requires earlier expiry. Provider cookies may follow the provider’s documented duration and configured settings.
We may update this policy when providers or purposes change. The live preference interface and provider configuration must be kept consistent with this document.
